“How can anybody be anath (orphan) in this land of Raghunath and Vishwanath?” asks Sadhvi Rithambara. Outflowing from her fond concept of bhakti is vatsalya or devotion as towards children, getting reflected in her novel experiment of communes vatsalya mandir and now vatsalya gram. Her vatsalya gram at Param Shakti Peeth is a verdant sprawl of 43 acres on the Vrindavan-Mathura Road. In her vatsalya mandir and gram she takes up destitute children and old women and prepares them as role models of daughters, mothers or grandmothers as is the case. Sadhvi Rithambara is referred to here as “Didi Ma,” and schoolteachers know that children have come from vatsalya mandir. She finds charity a cold concept. It might provide food, clothes and shelter to some needy person but can’t impart love, affection, care and warmth, necessary for healthy evolution that vatsalya is all about.

I have listened to her Kathas on TV Asia in the past, when I found out that she was going to be at the new Krishan Vrindavana Temple in Edison New Jersey, I cancelled any activities to see her and listen to what she has to say. I must truly be blessed to have attended such an event and be in her presence. The love and devotion she shows to our Lord (Krishna) and our Land (Barath) has given me new hopes for the future.

Mera naam naatsha hai.mujhe aapke ke baare t.v se paata chala. maine aapka website dekha hai. Mei bas aapse itna chahti ho ki aap mujhe aapne pass rahnei de. Meine bachpan se bahut kuch saaha hai..mei ik anath ladki ho but bhagwan ki kripa se mujhe ache maa-baap mile. mei unkke upar bhoj nahi banana chahti.
Maine apni marzi se shadi ki thi.aaj har koi mujhe torcher karta hai.mere pati mujh par hath bi uthate hai aur sharab bhi pite hai .main kuch bol nhi sakti.meri 6 saal ki beti hai.sab kehte hai talak de de usko.par mera bacha kaha jayega.
Main bahut zyaada depression mei ho, kabhi lagta hai ki mei sucide kar lo.kya main apke ashram main reh sakti hu.plz mujhe apne ashram rakh lijiye mei apne bache ke saath rahna chati ho aur mujhe paata hai ki apke ilawa aur koi jagah nahi jaha mei apne bache ke saath secure reh sakti ho.

BEST OUT OF WASTES
I am in the development sector for last 14 years and designed & implemented many innovative projects; but never seen a UNIQUE and INNOVATIVE Intervetion like that of Didi Maa’s Vatsalya Gram.
In my developmental journey of 14 years and working for thousands of needy people, I do not know whether I could contribute for their life-building activities but here in Vatsalya Gram, Didi Maa is creating TRUE CITIZENS for India out of the wastes in the eyes of the society.
Any institution in India, may be for education or employment, wants the creamy layers (selection is based on the merit and money) to produce best results whereas Vatsalya Gram urges the society to provide an opportunity to serve the abandoned (wastes in the eyes of society) children to produce best citizens for the nation.
