guru highlights the current conflict between saving and spending. savings is an essential quality of mankind. savings not only of money savings of every other thing like water electricity etc. there should be a reward for saving. the dirty capitalist economy not only discourages saving but also ridicules the behaviour. not every one is savvy with equity market. for those who are conservative and ignorant of market saving is the only way to stretch your dollar to retirement. of course with reasonable rate of interest. the market expects you to take risks and fail. not all investors in the market reap rewards. only the middlemen are sure of making money. this is the bane of capitalism. asian countries should not go 100% for capitalism. they must combine asian virtues of saving in their economic policies.
